Effective team building relies on the smooth dynamics between all of these elements working in harmony.  Our team building interventions use this framework to diagnose team performance and we work in collaboration with the team to come up with action plans to leverage strengths and address weaknesses or concerns.
 
Overview of Team Building Process
  • Initial meeting with team leader to determine key issues to be addressed
  • Leader and direct reports complete online diagnostics of OIL
  • A team day is scheduled and facilitated by JMA Consulting
  • Review of diagnostic tools with a particular emphasis on
- Aligning Team Mission and Objectives to organsiation strategy
- Individual styles, strengths analysis and team building
- Reviewing and optimising processes the team use to reach objectives
- Agreeing processes for team communications, decisions, resolving conflicts etc.
  • Developing an Action Plan
  • Finalising and gaining commitment to the action plan
 
The process outlined above can be expanded to include additional tools such as 360's, further team coaching or coaching for individual team members and follow up review sessions on action plans depending on a client's requirements.
